- Charge the vaporizer: Remove the magnetic cover on the bottom of the device to access the herb compartment. Fill the stove with finely ground flower plant material, without overfilling it to allow adequate air circulation.
- Turn on the vaporizer: Press the button in the center of the device to turn it on. PAX 2 will take about 45 seconds to warm up.
- Select the temperature you want: PAX 2 has four different temperature settings, which are indicated by an LED light on the front of the device. Press the button in the center of the device to change the temperature and select the desired temperature.
- Wait for the vaporizer to heat up to the selected temperature: After selecting the temperature, wait a few seconds for the PAX 2 to reach the desired temperature. The LED light on the front of the device will change color to indicate that it is ready.
- Inhale: Place your lips around the mouthpiece and enjoy the experience. The PAX 2 is a convection vaporizer, which means that it heats the herb by hot air rather than by direct contact. Inhale slowly for best results.
- Clean the vaporizer: Once you have finished smoking, turn off the PAX 2 and wait for it to cool down. We recommend cleaning the herb chamber and mouthpiece with the cleaning brush included in the vaporizer kit after each session.
To change the temperature in PAX 2, follow these steps:
- Turn on PAX 2 by pressing the button in the center of the device. The LED light on the front of the device will flash and then change color to indicate that it is on.
- Press and release the button in the center of the device to access the temperature setting. The LED light will illuminate purple to indicate that the temperature setting has been accessed.
- Use the same button to change the temperature. Press the button once to select the first temperature setting. The LED light will illuminate green to indicate that the first temperature setting has been selected.
- To change the temperature, press the button again. The LED light will change color to indicate that a new temperature has been selected. The vaporizing device has four temperature modes: low temperature (182ºC), green (one light); medium temperature (192ºC), yellow (2 lights); medium-high temperature (204ºC), orange (3 lights); and high temperature (216ºC), red (4 lights).
- Wait for the PAX 2 to reach the selected temperature. The LED light on the front of the device will flash while heating and will change to a solid color once it reaches the desired temperature. In general, a lower temperature will produce a smoother vapor and a cleaner taste, while a higher temperature will produce a denser and more potent vapor.
Like all vaporizing devices, the PAX 2 vaporizer requires regular maintenance to ensure optimal use and prolong its useful life. Here are some tips on how to clean your PAX 2 vaporizer and keep it in perfect condition:
- Disassemble the vaporizer: Remove the nozzle, the magnetic lid and the oven. It is important to make sure that the vaporizer is turned off and disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.
- Clean the nozzle: Use a cleaning brush to remove dry grass debris from the nozzle. If the nozzle is very dirty, soak it in isopropyl alcohol for a few minutes (optional) and then gently scrub it with water and a soft bristle brush. Be sure to rinse the mouthpiece thoroughly with warm water after cleaning to remove any alcohol residue and prevent it from being inhaled during the next use of the vaporizer.
- Clean the oven: Use a pipe cleaner or a cleaning brush to remove dried grass debris from the oven. Be sure not to damage the oven surface while cleaning.
- Clean the magnetic cover: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the magnetic cover. Do not immerse the magnetic cap in water or isopropyl alcohol!!!!
- Clean the exterior of the vaporizer: Clean the exterior of the vaporizer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives to clean the vaporizer, as they may damage the surface of the vaporizer!!!!
- Allow to dry thoroughly and reassemble the vaporizer: After cleaning all parts, reassemble the vaporizer. Make sure all parts are dry before using the vaporizer again.
Of course! In general, it is advisable to grind the herb well before vaporizing to obtain the best results in terms of flavor, efficiency and vapor production. To do this, you can use a grinder, with which you will achieve a uniform result. Grinding the herb into small, uniform pieces helps maximize the contact surface between the herb and the heat, which increases steaming efficiency and produces more steam. In addition, the heat is distributed more evenly through the ground herb, which helps prevent parts of the herb from burning while other parts remain unvaporized. Grinding the herb also makes it easier to fill the steamer's cooking chamber, which helps ensure even distribution of the material and uniform heating.
Temperatures of up to 216 °C can be produced inside the PAX 2 vaporizer furnace, but the outside of the device remains warm. Normally, it does not overheat, being one of the safest devices on the market and one of the reference brands in the sector. However, if you take deep inhalations too often, it may overheat, but this is not the mode of use recommended by the manufacturer.
The PAX 2 vaporizer has four preset temperature settings, ranging from 182°C to 215°C. Vaporization temperature directly affects the flavor and quality of the vapor cloud produced. Therefore, the ideal temperature for vaporizing flowers with the PAX 2 vaporizer is different if we take into account personal preference, the type of flower or the purpose or desired effects of the vaporization session. Flavor-wise, vaping at lower temperatures is smoother and cooler, while higher vaporization temperatures can provide a denser vapor cloud and a more intense flavor. Another point of view is taking into account the evaporation points of terpenes and the decarboxylation of cannabinoids. Cannabis terpenes, although they have different evaporation points, generally vaporize at low temperatures. The recommended temperature for vaporizing CBD is between 160°C and 210°C. The ideal temperature for vaping cannabis depends on the user's personal preference and the type of herb being used. In general, you can vaporize cannabis flowers in the temperature range allowed by the PAX 2 vaporizer that you like best, since between 177°C and 204°C there is a good balance between the vaporization of terpenes and the decarboxylation of cannabinoids. You can start with the lowest temperature (182°C) and gradually increase until you find the temperature that best suits your needs and preferences. We invite you to experiment with different flowers and effects, adjusting the temperature according to your sensations. It is important to note that vaping at higher temperatures can produce a denser and more potent vapor, but can also produce a less complex flavor and a more relaxing experience.
