This summer’s postcard is full of rhythm, color and symbols that invite you to connect with the essential. About the Artist: Zosen

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Zosen is a renowned visual artist and researcher specializing in urban culture. He currently lives and works in Barcelona.

From a very young age he was linked to skateboarding, graffiti and punk culture, influenced by the “do it yourself” philosophy. His first creations were fanzines that he edited in his adolescence.

Active in the Barcelona graffiti scene since the early 90s, he has carried out mural projects around the world, both individually and in collaboration with local communities in participatory processes. His style stands out for the use of vibrant colors, free forms and a committed look at art as a tool for transformation.

Zosen’s creative repertoire includes illustration, painting, ceramics, documentaries and book editing. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Europe, Asia, North America and South America, participating in exhibitions and events both nationally and internationally.

In this collaboration, his artistic universe merges with the spirit of Cannactiva to shape a piece that celebrates life, color and collective identity.

The Bandana: a Gift with History

At Cannactiva we believe that a good gift is not only a detail, but also a story that is transmitted. This season, the chosen piece is an exclusive bandana illustrated by Zosen, a reinterpretation of an ancestral symbol from a contemporary perspective.

The design is inspired by the classic paisley or boteh, the drop-shaped motif that represents life and eternity and that is present in all traditional bandanas. Originally from Central Asia, this symbol has traveled throughout the centuries and has been adopted by cultures around the world. From cowboy scarves to emblems of labor, Chicano, hippie, rapper and rocker movements, the boteh, paisley or drop has accompanied expressions of freedom, identity and transformation throughout history.
