FLORA – Cannactiva Spring Greeting 2025

As every spring, in Cannactiva we celebrate the arrival of the new season with a special greeting. This time, we present you FLORA (Mimosa Haze), which joins our Premium CBD flowers.

Plus, get down to earth with the new seasonal gift: An autoflowering CBD seed and a jiffy. All accompanied by the beautiful postcard illustrated by artist Mariona Cabassa (@theinvisiblecircle), which pays tribute to the power of perseverance, confidence and connection with nature.

The beautiful postcard of this spring is full of fresh colors and organic shapes, inviting us to bloom from within. FLORA reminds us that sometimes, in the midst of the noise, the most valuable thing is to be silent, to go deep and to trust.

Searching for water…

The story goes that a family traveled halfway around the world before settling in a fertile valley where they could put down roots. Upon arrival, the mother needed water to irrigate her fields and sent her sons to dig a well.

The eldest son, a lively and talkative boy, spent the day amidst rumors and promises, listening to every neighbor and letting himself be carried away by every new occurrence. “Here is the best land!”, “Water will spring up there without effort!”, he would say. Between so much back and forth, he ended up with endless shallow holes… without finding a drop.

The younger son, who was more shy and reserved, decided to ignore so many voices and grandiloquent advice. Finally, shovel after shovelful and with patience, he ended up finding the undercurrent.

Trust in the path. Insist until the end.
Only in this way, and with a little luck, the water will gush forth. ?

The illustration is accompanied by an inspiring metaphor: the search for water as a symbol of the inner path, constancy and faith that the essential is right under our feet. Sometimes, so much noise distracts us from the essential: trusting the process and going deeper.

Meet Mariona Cabassa, the illustrator of the postcard

Mariona Cabassa was born in 1977 in the vibrant city of Barcelona. Her artistic career began at the Massana Art School and continued with postgraduate studies at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg.

With more than 25 years of experience in the world of illustration, he has published nearly 100 books and collaborated on numerous projects including school books, puzzles, decorative vinyls, bags, toys, postcards, posters and wine labels. In parallel, he has explored disciplines such as painting, drawing, embroidery on paper and large canvases, and since the age of 40, also the art of tattooing.

Mariona has shared her artistic vision and knowledge by teaching in different art schools in Barcelona and organizing her own workshops. A tireless traveler and photography lover, she finds inspiration in silence, nature and light. She enjoys open spaces, small groups, coffee in the morning and swimming daily. Although she has tried to learn to play the cello twice without success, she still dreams of trying again.

His work is deeply connected to nature, a bond that stems from his family background of gardeners and is reflected in both his illustrations and the gardens he has cultivated over the years.

For Mariona, art and creativity are essential tools to transform the world and fill it with beauty.
