They Wanted To Bury Us, But They Didn’t Know We Were The Seed

Somewhere in the world, a water carrier performs his daily task of carrying water from a spring to his village, using two pitchers, one new and perfect, the other old and cracked.

One day, during one of his trips, the broken pitcher, unsure of its value, asked the water carrier:

– Why do you continue to use me, if through my cracks I lose water?

The water carrier, with a tender but knowing smile, replied:

– Look at your side of the road; your fissures shed drops that have been watering this path of flowers. Your ‘flaws’ are gifts that beautify our environment.

From our differences and imperfections come wonderful and unique opportunities to beautify and enrich the world.

About the artist: Asis Percales

Asis Percales is an artist, celiac and son of first cousins. Born in Guájar Fondón, a small town in Granada in 1986. His childhood develops happily, together with his family and in contact with nature. His artistic training is forged little by little, giving rise to a characteristic style.

Asis defines himself as a young boy with a clean look, curious and friendly at the same time. He is currently based in Barcelona, where he is emerging to who knows where.

Meaning of VEGA

“Vega” is a term meaning fertile plain, often located in low-lying areas along rivers, where the soil is particularly conducive to cultivation thanks to the abundance of water and nutrients.

With the arrival of spring, the meadows are transformed into veritable tapestries of color and offer a spectacle of reborn life and sounds. A symphony where nature invites you to take a deep breath and enjoy. Warmer temperatures and spring rains awaken dormant seeds, and the vega, with its rich, moist soil, becomes the perfect place for rebirth.

Spring has inspired us!

Buried and silent, the seeds make us wonder if they are sleeping, or if they are waiting, attentive, for their moment. One day, the air, the sun, the water and the earth suddenly call out to them. Then, in an act of innate courage, the seeds break their shells, spreading their roots into the earth that holds them and their shoots towards the sky that calls them.

Sowing flowers, you will never reap a fruit. The concentration and effort of the plant on its seeds, the time to germinate and take root, the search for light, the connection and adaptation to the environment, are what finally allow it to flower and bear fruit.

Every seed has the potential to transform the landscape.

The metaphor of the germinating seed symbolizes the cycles of life, renewal and the beauty of growth and transformation inherent in nature and in ourselves. Like seeds, sometimes we don’t know if we are asleep, or if something is coming. Take care of your garden, and trust in life! ???
